These are generally known as 'Christmas Tree' worms because of their spiral tree-like shape.  This worm cluster in particular struck me funny.   Coming from a sea which can be equally beautiful and life-giving, as well as unforgiving and destructive, I felt as though the sea was giving a glimpse to a more humorous side.
